My parents instilled in me at a young age that you should give back to your community. Taking those words to heart, I've been honored to work with many local organizations serving the youth and elderly in Seacoast NH, where I have loved and called home for 51 years.

I have worked in the administrative field for many years and most recently received my Recovery Coach Training certificate. Working for Emergency Management has given me the particular ability to raise opioid addiction awareness. I also served as a school board member for our high school and our elementary school for thirteen years. This is where I first met Denyse and Kathy, and together we began our journey to advocate for the highest level of education in our schools and bring drug addiction and mental health issues to the forefront.
In the last few years, my husband and I have had to face addiction and its aftermath in a very real way. We are so thankful to have been surrounded by wonderful and caring people. These experiences have given me a wealth of knowledge and insight regarding the needs of our community, while leading me to where I am today. I am honored to take this journey with these women and be a part of Step Up Parents.
