Volunteer for us

Believe in what Step Up Parents is doing for families throughout New Hampshire? Join our cause by giving your time as a board member, advisory committee participant, or mission ambassador.

Board member

Directors on our board are expected to understand and champion the mission of Step Up Parents.  They must be prepared for and attend quarterly board meetings.  They are expected to provide guidance and oversight on matters of corporate strategy, organization, operations, and finances. Directors are expected to be actively involved in developing, promoting, and attending fundraising initiatives and to make an annual personal financial contribution to Step Up Parents at a level reasonable to the individual.

Advisory committee member

If you would like to get involved and share your areas of expertise but don’t have the time to join as a board member at this time, please consider joining our Advisory Committee. Step Up Parents would love to benefit from your expertise, skills and knowledge to help advise the organization in its strategic goals.

Mission ambassador

Ambassadors serve in a less formal capacity than Directors but can have a very meaningful impact on the success of Step Up Parents.  Ambassadors share their time, talents and expertise, as needed and as available, to promote and make appeals on behalf of Step Up Parents, as well as provide targeted support for fundraising initiatives and corporate events. They also serve an important function as personal and digital ambassadors, connecting Step Up Parents to the community.  We encourage our Ambassadors to utilize their public speaking and social media skills to expand the reach of Step Up Parents to a broadening network of family, friends and colleagues.
