Step Up Parents Receives $6,000+ Donation from The Fabulous Find

Step Up Parents (SUP) is excited to announce The Fabulous Find has made a generous donation in the amount of $6,052.71. This gift will provide critical financial assistance and other support to kinship caregiver families caring for children whose parents suffer from substance use disorder (SUD).

Located in Kittery, Maine, The Fabulous Find is a nonprofit resale boutique that benefits the local community through donations of their monthly proceeds to board-selected nonprofits. Step Up Parents was one of three nonprofits selected as the beneficiaries of the boutique's January 2024 proceeds. The other two organizations, Great Bay Services and The KEY Collective, received donations in the same amount.

Since launching in 2019, SUP has given over $300,000 in direct assistance to 564 families, helping bring stability and hope to nearly 1,000 "kinship kids." Year over year, the need for assistance from SUP has grown. In 2023, SUP helped 176 families with 305 children.
