NH Senators Hassan and Shaheen cosponsor bill to combat fentanyl crisis
In an effort to prevent overdoses and save lives throughout New Hampshire, Senators Maggie Hassan and Jeanne Shaheen have cosponsored the bipartisan Fentanyl Eradication and Narcotics Deterrence (FEND) Off Fentanyl Act. This bill strengthens current laws targetting the fentanyl supply chain and increases penalties for synthetic opioid tracking.
“By imposing these sanctions on fentanyl traffickers and their supply chains, we can target the deadly flow of fentanyl into our communities at the source," said Senator Hassan.
